About snapshots

As a freelancer, Tom Priddy has been photographing Minor League Baseball for more than a decade. His work appears in Baseball America and MinorLeagueBaseball.com, and he has been published in Sports Illustrated and ESPN The Magazine, among others. His photographs have appeared on dozens of minor league baseball cards, including team sets, Just Minors, Tri-Star and Donruss. He was a pioneer in digital photography, supervising groundbreaking digital photography projects with Kodak and Nikon, including coordinating the very first worldwide online distribution of news images (from the 1991 Super Bowl). He trained NBA and NFL photographers in digital photography and brought the first news service photos (from Knight Ridder/Tribune and Reuters) online for sale worldwide. He and his wife live in South Carolina where his day job is multimedia director for GoUpstate, the Web site of the Spartanburg Herald-Journal. He uses Nikon equipment, and shoots everything now on digital media.
